The environmental issues are becoming increasingly serious year by year. Within the efforts of the SDGs, consumer awareness has been rising, starting with the implementation of the "charging for plastic shopping bags" in July 2020. In this context, we had the opportunity to conduct a survey among Generation Z (our own research). When asked, "Are you interested in the SDGs?" I expected the answer to be "Yes, I am interested," but many responded with "No, I am not interested." This unexpected answer led to further exploration, revealing that while they see the efforts of the SDGs as a given, they are concerned about whether society and companies are actually "taking action." Based on this, I recommend the following two items: - Eco-bags: With the increase in demand due to the charging for plastic bags, eco-bags have become popular. If you are considering creating them as promotional items, washable ones are recommended. If they can be kept clean, they also provide peace of mind from an infection prevention perspective. - Tote bags: Lightweight and easy to carry, tote bags are popular practical items. Among them, those that are "easy to fold and convenient to carry," "suitable for both men and women," and "can be worn over the shoulder" seem to be particularly well-received.
