In Mie Prefecture, there were concerns that the construction vibrations from the new highway would propagate to nearby public facilities. As a countermeasure, the 'WIB method' was implemented directly beneath the construction vehicle road. After the measures were taken, running tests and impact tests using a backhoe were conducted, comparing the vibrations at the unprotected and protected locations.
