[Case Study] Increasing Productivity through the Update of Air Bottle Washing Machine

Improvement of processing capacity and efficiency! A case where the hassle of handling broken glass from bottle breakage has been eliminated, resulting in increased efficiency.

We would like to introduce a case of the new introduction of an air bottle washing machine to a long-established pharmaceutical manufacturer with 80 years of history. This customer had been using our air cleaner for about 25 years. Although there were no malfunctions with the equipment itself, the customer's production situation changed over time, and inefficiencies emerged in the original specifications. At Nagata Seisakusho, we proposed updates to the existing equipment along with additional functions to address the customer's concerns. After the introduction, the processing capacity increased compared to before the update, and we were able to adapt the specifications to the current production conditions. [Challenges] - The timing for sending bottles from the feed screw to the bottle washing holder changes with each type of bottle, requiring manual adjustments. - Occasionally, bottles that are defective from the start may be transported into the equipment, causing them to break, and fragments can mix into the equipment. - When bottles are air-blown, they may lift and come off the washing holder, resulting in inadequate cleaning of the bottle bottoms as required. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
