This document introduces the LC-MS analysis of serum samples using the Supel Swift HLB solid-phase column. The preparation of biological samples can significantly impact reproducibility and accuracy. Solid-phase extraction (SPE) helps reduce matrix effects such as ion suppression, contributing to the reliability of consistent results. In this study, we analyzed a mixture of 20 compounds from bovine serum with various log P values (-0.89 to 4.65) using the Supel Swift HLB solid-phase column.
