Penetrating removal of rust and calcium accumulated in the cooling circuit! Also suitable for cleaning pipes other than molds.
This is a device primarily designed for cleaning the cooling circuits and piping of injection molding and blow molding molds. It has also been proven effective with compressors and heat exchangers. By connecting the piping, it is possible to clean multiple units at once. The device is air-driven, so there is no concern about motor overheating, making it safe for unmanned operation at night. By using our self-developed cleaning solution, it becomes possible to clean aluminum molds, which have often been deemed unsuitable for cleaning until now.

basic information
- Compact & Lightweight The cleaning operations often take place next to molding machines or in the corners of factories. Molding factories are typically filled with equipment at a high density to enhance spatial efficiency, so it is not uncommon to find areas with no maintenance space at all. Therefore, we designed it to be portable for narrow spaces, allowing for space-saving operations. - Pulsation Since small parts are often used in molds, the diameter of the circuits tends to be narrow, making it impossible to supply at high pressure. By sending the cleaning solution in a pulsating manner, effective pressure is applied to the blockage while also making it easier for cavitation to occur, which helps to detach foreign substances adhered to the walls of the waterway. - Reversal Generally, during production, water is only flowed in one direction, causing deposits to accumulate in shadows and eddies against the flow. By periodically reversing the flow of the cleaning solution, these deposits can be effectively removed. If the circuit is completely blocked, cleaning is not possible, but if there is a slight flow, alternating the flow from both ends can allow for relatively quick penetration.

Applications/Examples of results
The results of the cleaning will manifest as an improvement in cooling performance. This improvement in cooling performance leads to a reduction in molding cycle time. Target objects: Plastic molds, aluminum die-casting molds, and others with water-cooled circuits. Cooling circuits of molding machines, especially under the hopper where blockages are likely to occur. Water-cooled circuits of compressors, which often cannot exchange heat due to calcium buildup. If the temperature control unit's circuit is also water-cooled, it can be treated in the same way as molds and molding machines. However, since the capacity is often large, it is advisable to carry out the process in as narrow a range as possible to avoid generating a large amount of waste all at once.
Detailed information
-
The cooling circuit of the mold was photographed with an endoscope camera. It is clear that deposits are sticking and obstructing the flow of cooling water. If this continues, the cooling will gradually worsen, and there is a risk of shrinkage or deformation occurring in the molded products...

Rust in the piping can affect mold components as transferred rust. This photo shows cracks that have occurred from areas corroded by transferred rust. Mold components that have lost some strength due to rust, like this, can break under molding pressure, so caution is necessary.
