"SmartWing" is a compact 5-axis multi-joint robot characterized by its slim structure and the elimination of the need for teaching. In developing the vertical multi-joint robot, FUJI aimed to achieve a design that stands out from competitors with a smart form. The design features lines with organic curves and sharp edges, proposing that the structural components be part of the design without full coverage. The design was well-received as being perfectly suited to the product name SmartWing, and our prompt response also satisfied the client.
