Fire-resistant sheet 'Kemushatto' that is difficult to damage.
The Role and Issues of Smoke Curtains The most frightening aspect of building fires is accidents caused by "smoke." Smoke curtains are smoke barriers that make up smoke compartments as defined by building codes. They consist of walls that hang down at least 50 cm from the ceiling, which can block the flow of smoke during a fire, thereby extending the time available for evacuation. However, there have been frequent secondary disasters where the glass of smoke curtains, which are supposed to protect human lives, has broken or fallen, causing injuries. This issue was also highlighted during major earthquakes such as the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Kumamoto Earthquake. As a result, there is a need for new flame-retardant curtains that can solve these problems, and lightweight, damage-resistant non-combustible sheet flame-retardant curtains are currently attracting attention. ◇ Slim Panel Type ◇ Tension Type ◇ Transparent Type ◇ Opaque Type The non-combustible sheet used in "Kemushatto" boasts top-class transparency and has received non-combustible certification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. In addition to its high transparency (light transmittance of over 90%), it features an anti-static function, which not only prevents secondary disasters caused by the scattering of smoke curtains but also significantly improves workability by reducing static electricity and dust adhesion during operations.

basic information
The "Kemushatto" non-combustible sheet uses a top-class non-combustible sheet with high transparency that has obtained non-combustibility certification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. In addition to its high transparency (light transmittance rate of 92%), it is equipped with anti-static features, which not only prevents secondary disasters caused by the scattering of smoke curtains but also significantly improves workability by reducing the occurrence of static electricity and dust adhesion during work. The weight has been reduced to about one-tenth compared to conventional glass with mesh. In case of any sagging of the sheet or length adjustment of the unit, it can be easily done with the 'tension adjustment hole.' The 'shock-absorbing springs' installed at both ends absorb the displacement that occurs when the entire building (structure) and the ceiling sway differently during an earthquake, significantly reducing the possibility of the frame falling and enhancing safety.

Detailed information
-
Slim panel type Consists of a transparent non-combustible sheet and an aluminum frame. In the event of unexpected impacts during transportation or work that may cause sagging, it can be easily resolved with the "tension adjustment hole." Additionally, adjustments to the unit's fit are also possible. - Sheet sagging can be adjusted on-site! - Size reduction can also be done on-site!
-
Tension Type By using "shock-absorbing springs" installed at both ends, it absorbs the displacement that occurs when the entire building (structure) and the ceiling sway differently during an earthquake, significantly reducing the possibility of the frame itself falling and improving safety. - No frame for a clear view! - Absorbs sway with expansion structures at both ends!
-
Non-combustible sheet, transparent type
-
Non-combustible sheet, opaque type
-
The sheet uses non-combustible materials certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
-
In case of any slack in the sheet or adjustments to the unit length, easy adjustments can be made with the "tension adjustment hole."
-
By using "shock-absorbing springs" installed at both ends, the displacement caused when the entire building (structure) and the ceiling sway differently during an earthquake is absorbed, significantly reducing the possibility of the frame itself falling and improving safety.
