EPDM 90°, which is not available in standard sheet materials, can be handled through compression molding. Due to its excellent weather resistance, it is suitable for sealing components in outdoor equipment.
EPDM has excellent aging resistance and is a rubber that is particularly strong against polar solvents. Additionally, high-hardness EPDM tends to develop a memory after molding. In molding materials, hardness selection is possible starting from around 60° Shore A.
