SABIREX's PFA forensic vials are made from high-purity PFA resin and are the ideal vials for the stable long-term storage of DNA. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States uses these PFA vials for the storage and transportation of DNA. Due to the absence of concerns regarding impurity leaching, many DNA samples stored in these PFA vials for over six years show little to no degradation, and samples stored in PFA vials under harsh temperature conditions have been preserved for detectable periods of six months. (No certificate of results is issued.) With extremely excellent liquid release properties, it is possible to recover samples from the vials without any loss.
