Chiplus is an SRAM memory design house established in 2002 as part of the publicly listed Helix Technology Group in Taiwan. It primarily manufactures low-power SRAM (64K to 8M), high-speed SRAM, and pseudo-SRAM. In 2007, it acquired a Taiwanese LED driver manufacturing company and began selling products under the Chiplus brand. The highest quality products have been adopted by major manufacturers in Japan. This time, we introduce MRAM from CHiPLUS. MRAM is a type of memory that uses magnetic materials in part of its memory elements, recording signals by changing the state of magnetization. It is classified as non-volatile memory, meaning that the recorded information does not disappear even when the power is lost. MRAM can achieve recording densities comparable to DRAM while consuming low power. It features non-volatility, like flash memory, allowing it to maintain data without power, while also offering extremely high read and write speeds.
