The developer, SmartCAE, started this service in 2014. It continues to supply many pharmaceutical companies, temperature-controlled container manufacturers, and some food-related companies. It has also contributed to the rapid distribution simulation of products related to the novel coronavirus. In 2023, approximately 600,000 transport lanes were simulated, and its accuracy has been validated. Many pharmaceutical companies in Europe and the United States are already utilizing it, making it more common, and optimizing the processes from development to distribution while reducing costs. The transport modes include not only air transport but also sea and land transport, with proven results. The transport containers can accommodate both active and passive systems, with a track record. Recently, in sea transport, it has addressed the increased risks of passage through the Red Sea by simulating internal container temperatures for routes via the Suez Canal and around the Cape of Good Hope. It plays a role in visualizing the differences by route on a monthly basis and eliminating temperature deviations caused by assumptions.
