They are particularly recognized by many customers on the island for properly processing approximately 7,000 abandoned vehicles that had been a long-standing issue in terms of processing technology and transportation costs from remote islands, and for exporting them off the island. While the company has supported waste processing and recycling on Miyako Island, they had no means to materially recycle Styrofoam.
