Surface Ionization Mass Spectrometer (TIMS) "TRITON"
Thermo Scientific TRITON Series Surface Ionization Mass Spectrometer
TIMS, which has a proven track record in precise isotopic ratio analysis of metallic elements.
This is a thermal ionization mass spectrometer (TIMS) primarily used for isotope ratio analysis (IRMS) of metal elements. The samples, after purification, are applied to a filament and measured using a method of thermal ionization under vacuum. ■ High-precision isotope ratio analysis is possible - Low energy scattering of ions allows for precise analysis - Over 25 years of proven performance and reliability <Representative measured elements> - Geochemistry field: Neodymium (Nd), Strontium (Sr), Lithium (Li), Lead (Pb), etc. - Nuclear field: Uranium (U), Plutonium (Pu), etc. <Representative applications> - Space geochemical research (dating of geological and meteorite samples, material cycle studies) - Nuclear security and nuclear inspections - Environmental radioactivity research (such as 90Sr) For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
