This is an adapter that converts in-vehicle Ethernet T1 to standard Ethernet T. A new product series has been developed to convert to USB 3.0.
The AE-100, AE-1000, and AE-1000 USB in-vehicle Ethernet adapters are bidirectional physical layer media converters between standard Ethernet and in-vehicle Ethernet (OPEN Alliance BroadR-Reach). The AE-1000 USB converts in-vehicle Ethernet to USB 3.0. It performs media conversion simply by connecting (plug and play) without the need for dedicated software.

Product Features ● All versions can be used plug-and-play without the need for additional configuration software. ● Compact and sturdy nylon enclosure with an optional clip-on mounting bracket makes it suitable for in-vehicle use. ● Operating temperature during in-vehicle use, including high and low temperature environment tests, is -40 to +85℃. ● The physical commander/responder mode selection switch minimizes the delay in startup negotiation. ● The AE-100 and AE-1000 support Power over Ethernet (PoE), eliminating the need for extra power wiring. Apart from bus-powered operation, they are powered by a surge-resistant DC drive port with an operating voltage of 6–36VDC. ● The AE-1000 USB is powered via USB and supports standard NIC drivers installed as a PC's Ethernet port.
