The sample is a mold for forging super hard alloys! Internal polishing is done through fluid polishing and hand polishing.
We would like to introduce our achievements in the internal surface polishing of "carbide molds." The sample is a mold for carbide forging. After EDM processing, fluid polishing was performed, followed by hand polishing. Company information
Our company is a Japanese venture that manufactures and sells its original technology, the "Fluid Polishing Device." Our main areas of focus are the inner surface polishing, deburring, and dross removal of ultra-fine hole metal tubes with inner diameters ranging from Φ0.08mm to Φ2mm, such as stent pipes and catheter pipes for medical device components. Recently, we have achieved a polishing process aimed at improving the surface roughness of cooling water pipes with fine and complex flow paths (e.g., 180° TURN continuous U-shape, L-shape) for Metal Additive Manufacturing products with inner diameters of approximately Φ0.2mm to Φ5mm, where there has been a high demand for polishing requests. Additionally, our technology can be applied not only for inner surface polishing but also for cleaning purposes, such as scale removal after product use. In particular, we can achieve nano-order surface roughness improvement in the inner mirror polishing of ultra-fine hole metal tubes. Our "Fluid Polishing Technology" is a unique technology that allows for a relatively short processing time and low running costs, using relatively inexpensive inorganic materials for abrasive particles, contributing to safety and reduced environmental impact. Our mission is to provide technology that can "enhance the added value and performance" of our customers' important products.
