The Cryocooler XV is a fully automatic, overcooled, high-pressure, closed-loop liquid nitrogen refrigerator designed to remove heat from remote loads.
The Cryocooler XV series is particularly suitable for cooling monochromator crystals. The settings of the cryocooler can be optimized to meet specific cooling and stability requirements. Flow rate, pump frequency, and pressure can all be independently adjusted, enabling thermal and mechanical stability of the crystals. The Cryocooler XV has also been installed at MAX IV, NSRRC, ESRF, DLS, and NSLS-II.
