The French insect repellent brand 'Parakeet' uses natural ingredients without chemical substances to repel insects. It is a new concept that prevents insects, attracted by the carbon dioxide and odors emitted by humans, from coming close by using the scent of herbs. By wearing pellets that trap the fragrance in bands or clips, you can repel insects without applying anything to your skin. The pellets evenly disperse the ingredients and last for about 15 days with one pellet. They can also be used when wet. There are band types, clip types, and sprays available to suit different needs.

The ingredients of the pellets are plant-based. A French perfumer blended seven types of herbs to create them. Essential oils extracted from herbs (lavender, citronella, geranium, pine tree, clove, peppermint, patchouli) are infused into the pellets. No chemical substances like DEET or Icaridin, and no alcohol are used. The pellets, which contain plant-derived ingredients, do not come into direct contact with the skin, making them safe for use by children and pregnant women.
