The ADLINK SP2-IMX8 is equipped with the high-performance NXP i.MX8M Plus processor, featuring a 32GB embedded multimedia card (eMMC) and an external microSD slot for storage expansion. Its modular architecture allows for rapid development, validation, and verification, significantly saving time, costs, and resources. The deformable open-frame panel PC SP2-IMX8 can be configured with custom features and interfaces to seamlessly meet the needs of various vertical applications, thanks to its edge I/O design. The ARM architecture enables the design of smaller and more compact devices through reduced power consumption and simplified circuitry. Therefore, ARM-based open-frame panel PCs are ideal for industrial environments and embedded applications where space is limited. ARM-based processors are known for their lower power consumption and higher energy efficiency compared to x86 processors.
