This system is comparable to a scanning laser vibrometer and can also be used to measure nonlinear transient responses that are impossible with scanning lasers. ■ Base Software If you wish to use your own cameras or videos, or analyze videos obtained from commercially available cameras or smartphones, we can provide the software only. It analyzes deformation measurements, magnification of normal movements, planar stress, static deformation, recoil or retrograde plastic creep due to wear or misalignment, thermal stretching, and schlieren, among others.
