Examples of displaying considerations for excess and shortage at the storage locations of various varieties, as well as specific improvement measures for shortage areas!
We would like to introduce a case study of operational improvements conducted at Company B, a building materials manufacturing company. The company consulted us to examine the surplus and shortage of storage space for various types of road construction materials, as they planned to expand their manufacturing line, and to provide specific improvement measures once the shortage areas were identified. As a result of the simulation, it was found that the initial plan indicated a shortage of approximately 500m2 of storage space, but it is now expected that a surplus of up to approximately 250m2 can be secured. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - Examination of surplus and shortage of storage space for various types - Request for specific improvement measures once shortage areas are identified ■ Effects - Identification of types with expected storage space shortages - Expectation of securing a surplus of up to approximately 250m2 of storage space *For more detailed information about the case, please refer to the related links.
