In Vol. 92, we examined the dimensional accuracy of the newly launched metal 3D printer "Xact Metal." The "Xact Metal" has joined the lineup of metal 3D printers! It is a state-of-the-art printer developed with the aim of providing low-cost solutions, without compromising on quality as well as print speed. It shapes models by melting and layering metal powder with a standard-equipped galvanometer laser, but just how faithfully can it reproduce the print data? This time, we conducted actual test prints and examined the finish and dimensional accuracy of the resulting models!
