HEADlab is a second-generation modular high-quality data collection system that includes controllers, input modules, playback modules, power supply modules (rechargeable batteries), and various other accessories. To accommodate a wide range of applications, various input modules are available. The HEADlab system can be configured with hundreds of channels. The sampling rate supports from 2.048 kHz to 204.8 kHz. The locking mechanism securely fixes the modules together, making them easy to remove as well.

The hardware HEADlab allows for hundreds of multi-channel connections in a synchronized system with sub-sample accuracy. Connections for binaural sensors, headsets, RPM, pressure, charge, temperature sensors, measurement bridges, ICP, and condenser microphones. Collection of CAN FD, CAN, OBD-2 (including WWH-OBD), and FlexRay signals. Sampling rate from 2.048 kHz to 204.8 kHz. Wide input range (HD mode, dual ADC). Synchronization via HEADlink of multiple HEADlab systems, navigation satellite systems, or PTP (Precision Time Protocol). Standalone measurements using labHSU or labSAR (industrial PC, web interface) with controllers. Power supply module (rechargeable battery) allows for 5 to 6 hours of power supply.
