Contec has created this system to identify the proper handwashing steps through AI, enabling the recording of correct handwashing practices in environments where hygiene management is essential, such as restaurants, food factories, and medical settings. It can recognize proper handwashing with over 95% accuracy by assessing the cleaning processes and required time for each step in the "6 Steps of Proper Handwashing" recommended by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

We have achieved accurate judgment even in conditions that are considered difficult for conventional image processing, such as with disinfectants, hand soap, and running water.
