The largest cutting and grinding tool brand in Europe has released a drill tool that is most suitable for breaking cylinder locks. Using conventional drills (rotary bars) can take several minutes to open a security lock's profile cylinder. However, with PFERD's innovative solution, due to its very high cutting efficiency, this task can typically be completed in under one minute, depending on the key. With a pointed drill and extremely fine teeth on the sides, it allows for efficient breaking of profile cylinders with pull protection. The integrated drill tip enables precise pinpoint drilling.
