[Case Study] Reproducing the Texture of Iron with Resin Coating

To reproduce the texture of iron, we would like to introduce a case where our resin-plated products were proposed. In order to create a sense of "authenticity" in automotive interiors, we were searching for decorative elements that could convey the texture of iron. While there are several ways to express appearance, achieving a true metallic feel requires not only visual representation but also a cool tactile sensation, and there was no method to reproduce this at a mass production level. Therefore, we proposed our "Light Platinum Satin TI," which can express the texture of iron through a slight matte finish and a hint of black. This contributed to enhancing the quality of the automotive interior.
