The Hallite rotating seal SSR is a double-acting O-ring combination rotary swivel seal designed to seal the inner diameters of shafts, bores, swivels, and other rotating or oscillating applications. Its specially designed fan-shaped outer diameter maximizes the contact area of the O-ring against the outer circumference of the sealing surface, minimizing the possibility of the seal rotating with the shaft in the groove. The standard sealing side of the SSR features a pressure notch, greatly enhancing the seal's responsiveness to pressure changes. Made from Hallite's unique Armorlene H82 or HCF PTFE materials, the SSR rotary seal offers low friction characteristics for improved energy efficiency and eliminates the possibility of sticking during startup.
