Zentel Japan was established in 2003 by the Powerchip Group and became independent in 2019, inheriting the Zentel brand. The A3T4GF30CBF(x8)/A3T4GF40CBF(x16) is an ECC-integrated DDR3 4Gb product. This product is the optimal solution that meets the functional safety requirements defined by ISO/IEC for system designs that require high reliability. ECC-integrated DDR directly notifies the SoC of faults that cannot be corrected by ECC, thereby reducing the system failure rate. Additionally, traditional systems face challenges in cost reduction because fault determination is performed by the SoC, requiring separate DDR for ECC in addition to the DDR for working memory. However, ECC-integrated DDR reduces the number of components and efficiently suppresses parts and implementation costs, power consumption, and EMI.
