The flame treatment equipment cleans and activates surfaces through flame surface treatment, achieving stronger adhesive bonds, faster line speeds, and improved product quality. Reasons for needing flame surface treatment: Low surface energy materials such as plastics (ABS, BOPP, PE, PET, PP, TPU) generally consist of non-polar long-chain molecules with non-porous and hydrophobic surfaces. These inert low surface energy materials have very few available bonding sites due to low levels of charged ions on the surface. Material additives and release agents within these plastics can also migrate to the surface, potentially hindering adhesion.
