We propose suitable steel materials from various types of steel according to the required heat resistance, pressure resistance, wear resistance, and cost for CFRP/CFRTP molds. ■ S50C/S55C - Hardness of HS30 when cost is a priority. Large forged materials are also available. ■ KTSM31 - Hardness of HRC28, pre-hardened steel. When higher hardness than S50C is required. ■ PXA30/KTSM3M - Hardness of HRC30, pre-hardened steel. When higher hardness than S50C is required. ■ DH2F - Hardness of HRC40, free-cutting pre-hardened hot die steel. ■ DHA1 (SKD61) - Hardness of HRC≦53, general-purpose hot die steel. Strong against thermal shock and thermal fatigue. ■ DHA-Thermo - Hardness of HRC40-47, high thermal conductivity hot die steel. 1.6 times higher thermal conductivity compared to DHA1. ■ DC53 - Hardness of HRC62, cold die steel.
