With water jet cutting, we received the request because it can cut into arbitrary shapes without stress, allowing the specimen to remain viable. Care was taken with the cutting speed to ensure that there was no impact on the rebar, which is subject to severe corrosion, or on the delamination and voids between the concrete layers.
