Tool appearance inspection device utilizing collaborative robots
Following last year, we will exhibit a device for inspecting the remaining wear after regrinding tools (hob cutters) for parts processing. This year, we are using a more compact 1kg portable robot by utilizing an inexpensive motor, Keigan Motor, which allows for USB control of the workpiece. Additionally, to accommodate small-lot, diverse products, the image inspection and robot control will operate using an application developed in-house.
