Phenolic resins are utilized in various fields by leveraging their properties such as heat resistance, chemical resistance, non-fusibility, electrical insulation, and cost-effectiveness.
Phenolic resin is the first synthetic resin (plastic) to be produced industrially, and it excels in heat resistance, chemical resistance, non-fusibility, electrical insulation, and cost-effectiveness compared to other synthetic resins. This page introduces examples of the use of phenolic resin as a molding material. - Molding Products - - Features and Advantages - Switch Box High insulation and low thermal deformation Outlet and Plug Housing Flame retardant and tracking resistance Breaker Case Safe to use even under high voltage Transformer Bobbin Electrical insulation and dimensional stability Relay and Solenoid Cover High-precision molding possible Distributor Cap Strong against high voltage and high insulation Brake Lining Base Material High wear resistance and heat resistance Clutch Facing Strong against pressure and friction heat Fuse Box Housing Heat resistance, insulation, and shape stability Handles of Pots and Pans Difficult for heat to transfer and easy to hold Bottom Material of Electric Pot Insulation and heat resistance are important Exterior Parts of Rice Cooker Balances appearance retention and functionality *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Phenolic resin, which has a history of about 100 years since it was introduced to the market. Lignite Co., Ltd. has transformed this phenolic resin into new forms. Our molded products range from small items weighing a few tens of grams to large items weighing about 160 kg, tailored to meet customer demands. Additionally, we offer unique products such as spherical phenolic resin (LPS) that has a rounded shape, and GPS and CFPS, which are phenolic resin-coated graphite and carbon fibers, respectively. Recently, we have been making daily progress towards the development and realization of new materials utilizing coating technology for various objects.
