We would like to introduce a case study involving the air index cylinder "MDF series" that we handle. In environments such as cleaning processes in food processing lines, equipment installed outdoors, or low-temperature environments where condensation frequently occurs, there have been cases where rust develops on the shafts (material: iron) used in the standard specification of MDF. By changing the shaft material from standard iron to stainless steel, the MDF was able to operate without compromising its performance and reliability, even in environments where water is present.
