A case study of implementing the remote monitoring system "AMEROID CHANNEL" at our factory to visualize the heat index inside the facility. At Ameroid, we have introduced this system in our factory and are utilizing it for heatstroke prevention during the summer. The system measures temperature and humidity in real-time and calculates the heat index (WBGT value). Based on this, it displays alerts such as "Danger" or "Special Caution" on monitors installed within the factory to raise awareness. Furthermore, alerts are sent to the internal chat system according to the level of danger, encouraging appropriate breaks and hydration. As a result of implementing this system, the risk of heatstroke among employees has been significantly reduced, and safety has improved. Additionally, by maintaining an appropriate working environment, employees can concentrate on their tasks with peace of mind, leading to increased productivity. Moreover, by analyzing accumulated temperature and humidity data, we have identified areas and times where temperatures are likely to rise. Based on this information, we optimized the placement and operation timing of air conditioning units, achieving energy savings as well.
