Additionally, it consumes so little power that two-way communication can be achieved with just one button battery, and it is said that such batteries can last over 10 years in continuous operation under optimal conditions. ■ Long-Distance Communication: The range of the 800MHz band used by smartphones (3G and later) is said to be about 2 to 5 km, but with LoRaWAN, communication is possible over distances of approximately 10 km, more than double that range. In areas with few obstacles, communication over distances greater than 10 km is possible; however, for practical use in urban areas, it is advisable to estimate a range of about 3 to 5 km, and about 1 km in indoor environments with obstacles. ■ High Noise Resistance: The 920MHz band used by LoRaWAN is less prone to simultaneous interference from other wireless networks, which helps minimize communication latency and allows for stable communication.
