42 (Forty-Two) is an engineering training institution that originated in France, and it established 42 Tokyo as its Tokyo campus in June 2020. It is supported by many companies through donations, and tuition is completely free. Students can enroll regardless of their background as long as they are 18 years or older, and their subsequent career paths are flexible. There are no teachers or classes; students learn from each other, acquiring knowledge while honing their collaboration and interpersonal skills.
