Small Chlorine Furnace "Series Part 4": Previous Applications and Future Uses

Introducing the main applications so far and the fields where future applications are expected!

In the previous session, we introduced the safety design of small chlorine furnaces. This time, we will present the application results so far and the promising applications we foresee in the future. 【Main Applications So Far】 1. Purification of carbon powder: Removal of metallic impurities mixed within the powder. 2. Susceptor cleaning: Removal of accumulated materials such as GaN on the surface of fixtures. 3. Phase transition control of ceramics: Reduction of phase transition temperature and phase control. → It has been applied in dry impurity removal/reaction control in sites that require "water-repellent materials" or aim to minimize wastewater. 【Core Value of Small Chlorine Furnaces】 Our small chlorine furnaces operate under constant negative pressure for Cl2/HCl processing. As a result, they can lower the effective boiling point of chlorinated products, making it easier to volatilize and remove chlorides at energy levels lower than atmospheric pressure. 【Fields Expected to See Future Applications】 ■ Selective separation and recovery of rare metals ■ Development of ultra-high purity materials ■ Exploration of new materials (development of reaction pathways and screening) ■ Surface modification (control of hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties) ■ Corrosion evaluation of alloys and materials (utilizing selective chlorination) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
