In the environment where trucks operate, there are various "moving hazards" such as pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, and workers. Even drivers who are highly conscious of safe driving find it difficult to be aware of all objects that enter their blind spots. Trucks have large and long bodies, and the shapes of their cargo areas and cabins create many areas that are hard to see, such as on the sides, behind, and directly underneath the vehicle. The "BFV203" from Pal Giken is an aftermarket warning system developed to cover these "invisible risks." Two AI cameras continuously monitor the area around the vehicle, and when they recognize pedestrians, bicycles, or motorcycles, they immediately alert the driver through video on a monitor and audio from a speaker.
