At a major domestic land-based aquaculture plant, the existing chillers became insufficient due to rising summer temperatures, causing the tank temperature to exceed the optimal range of 12-13°C, which affected growth. Although there was a desire to add cooling equipment, the power capacity was inadequate, and the site urgently sought a solution. In response, Aggreko conducted a site survey and proposed a temporary cooling and power plan that combined three 175 kW chillers with two 200 kVA generators, achieving delivery in just one month. After implementation, the water temperature quickly returned to the optimal range, minimizing the impact on the growth schedule and quality.
