This reagent promotes the binding of miRNA to the spin column carrier by adding it to a buffer containing chaotropic salts. By combining this reagent with the Sicagenius RNA Prep Kit (for tissue) instead of using a dedicated kit, it becomes possible to efficiently extract miRNA.
