[Construction Case] Local Exhaust Hood Design and Installation

A case where the opinions of the workers were heard, and a focus on workability was prioritized to carry out the construction in a lump sum!

To the pump manufacturer, we would like to introduce a case study of the design and construction of a local exhaust hood. In this case, the manufacturer was experiencing an accumulation of odors from organic solvents used during cleaning in the work area, which was affecting the working environment. Therefore, we conducted a site survey and designed the hood (custom-made to minimize disruption to the existing workflow based on interviews with the users), and handled the installation of equipment and the electrical control panel as a comprehensive package. With the improvement of odors, we also introduced an activated carbon filter unit, which addressed concerns for the surrounding area, and we were able to maintain the first management category in the working environment, leading to an overall improvement.
