We would like to introduce a case where we received a request from a certain manufacturing customer in the civil engineering and construction industry for the installation of windbreak curtains for an outdoor laundry area. The customer had set up a washing machine next to a warehouse (semi-outdoor) and was washing and air-drying clothes and gloves used during work. However, due to the environment being susceptible to rain and wind from sudden heavy rain, measures were needed, and they requested the installation of a tent to enclose the laundry space. With the aim of meeting fire safety regulations, we consulted and discussed with the tent contractor and proposed covering the area with curtains reinforced with rails at the top and bottom. Since the structure would be weak against strong winds, we suggested a design that allowed for opening and closing, which the customer approved.
