This is a master and slave IC compatible with CUnet. It can be connected to the CPU using Quad-SPI or SPI for use.
**512 Bytes of Shared Memory** The 512 bytes of shared memory consists of 64 blocks (8 bytes per block). This 512 bytes of shared memory is composed of a "self-occupied area" that can only be written to by the CPU connected to the self (CUnet IC), and an area where input data from other CUnet ICs is copied. **Buffer for Mail Function** The buffer for the mail function consists of two receive buffers and one send buffer, each of which is 256 bytes. **Communication Control Register** This is a register that controls communications such as starting communication, error checking, and sending and receiving mail. By simply accessing this register, it is possible to easily control CUnet communication. The MKY49 has interrupt terminals. It realizes various interrupt functions such as shared memory update interrupts, mail sending interrupts, mail receiving completion interrupts, specific terminal participation interrupts, specific terminal departure interrupts, and communication error occurrence interrupts. Additionally, it is equipped with general-purpose input (4 bits) and output (4 bits).

Company information
"Without taking leaps or bounds, but rather taking one step at a time..." This sentiment is embedded in the name of our company, Step Technica. All of our professional engineers, who share this belief, have established a development and support system that avoids taking leaps or bounds, from customer hearings to product release. Additionally, we are an LSI manufacturer that continues to develop new products that align with market trends, focusing on the themes of "things that seem to exist in the world but do not" and "things that someone might be able to create but cannot." Moving forward, we will continue to contribute to the industry by providing innovative products with enhanced reliability.
