This product is an epoxy film developed to add high added value to thermosetting glass fiber reinforced composites (GFRP). It simultaneously improves the traditional challenges of "vibration" and "impact resistance" in GFRP components that contribute to lightweight automotive design. ■ Excellent Vibration Damping Performance and Improved Ride Quality By simply inserting a 100μm thick film between GF prepregs, the vibration damping properties of the material are significantly enhanced. It suppresses the transmission of vibrations from the tires, contributing to improved cabin quietness and ride comfort. It is effective in areas where vibration and noise are concerns, such as suspension, doors, and roofs. ■ Impact Absorption and Damage Prevention Effects In puncture tests, GFRP laminated with this film demonstrated an excellent delay in destruction effect, with maximum energy consumption doubling.
