We will introduce the overall system for analyzing and sharing data measured by sensors in real-time. Data transmitted via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) to smartphones or gateways is aggregated and managed on a cloud platform in AWS. Noise reduction and hazard prediction, which require real-time processing, are performed on the edge (device side), while accumulated data is analyzed in detail in the cloud, adopting a hybrid configuration. AffordSense Inc. is a university venture established in November 2013 to deliver the research outcomes of the "Research and Development of Band-Aid Type Biosensors" project, initiated by Professor Kazuhisa Maenaka of the Graduate School of Engineering at Hyogo Prefectural University, as part of the Strategic Creative Research Promotion Project (ERATO).
