Defense and aerospace grade switching hub
The NXT-8 is a rugged 8-port Ethernet switch compliant with MIL standards. It features eight 10/100/1000 BASE-T copper ports and is housed in a durable, standalone chassis that does not require forced air cooling or conductive cooling, enabling ultra-fast data transfer. The NXT-8 operates reliably in a wide range of harsh environments, including unmanned aerial vehicle hangars where conventional equipment would fail. 【Features】 • Time-sensitive networking - low latency, highest level of QoS, guaranteed bandwidth • PTPv2 (IEEE-1588 and 802.1as) - Grandmaster (GM) support via external GPS - Phase lock to GM in less than 20 seconds - Jitter from GM under 100 ns • Extended built-in testing (at startup, regularly, manually) - Cable testing using time domain reflectometry - MAC bounce (spoofing) detection • Store and forward (default), cut-through • Port and flow mirroring, jumbo frames • Alarm monitoring via SNMP or JSON-RPC • Hardware and software initialization • Boot time < 50 seconds
