Setsuro Tech Inc. is a biotech startup that originated from Tokushima University and was founded in 2017. In 2015, Tatsuya Takemoto (Chairman & CTO) and his team at the University of Tokushima developed a method for easily and efficiently producing genome-edited mice (JP 6980218). In addition, Shun Sawatsubashi (CSO) and his team at the University of Tokushima developed the VIKING method for high-efficiency genome editing in cultured cells (JP 6956995). Additionally, Setsuro Tech Inc. has developed its own proprietary RNA-guided nuclease, ST9.5 (JP 7662138). Our company provides innovative genome editing technology and contributes to the further development of the industry, people's health, and wellbeing. We use proprietary technologies to offer contract genome editing services to researchers in academia and industry.
