【Cutting】 The thickness of precision cutting wheels can be up to 0.15mm, so cutting is possible with a gap of about 0.3mm. 【Resin Embedding】 Resin embedding is performed when polishing the cross-section while maintaining the state of the sample, when there are cavities inside the sample, or when creating cross-section samples for display or appreciation. Epoxy Resin - Has a low curing shrinkage rate and is less prone to cracking (catalog value 0.5%) - Excellent heat resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance - Superior adhesion to non-adhesive materials - Contains trace amounts of chlorine in the resin Polyester Resin - Used when embedding larger products - Does not contain chlorine in the resin Acrylic Resin - High transparency - Resistant to scratches 【Polishing】 We own two types of mechanical polishing machines: a standard polisher and a precision polisher, both capable of performing rough polishing to mirror polishing. Polisher - Short processing time for cutting and polishing machines (fewer steps to mirror polishing) - Mainly used for polishing resin materials and steel materials Precision Polisher - Allows for setting polishing pressure and polishing time - Capable of suppressing distortion even when polishing hard materials such as carbide and ceramics.
