The 1U size allows for space-saving, enabling high-capacity long-distance transmission and reduction of fiber costs through center interconnection.
The transmission port features detachable 8 pairs of multi-rate SFP/SFP+ ports, capable of transmitting up to 80G of unidirectional/bidirectional single-core or dual-core signals using WDM, or 40G of bidirectional signals in two sets of single-core. Optionally, high-density WDM filters and amplifiers can be added within the same chassis, enabling space-saving long-distance transmission. This allows for significant total cost reductions in fiber costs and network nodes. The transmission ports can also be paired to function as independent repeaters (media converters) for up to 8 units. The DCWDM2108H is equipped with FEC functionality, enabling high-quality communication and remote monitoring (monitoring of the remote device OTN61002). It includes local and remote monitoring capabilities via LAN and OSC (SNMP/syslog), as well as local monitoring through a serial console and office alarm contacts.
