In the plating industry, we have been actively addressing environmental issues for a long time. Our company has been implementing cyanide-free processes since 1973, with consideration for the environment and safety. Additionally, at the Ota factory, which was completed in August 2007, we have further improved customer satisfaction and taken environmental considerations into account by eliminating the use of hexavalent chromium to "zero" in order to comply with the RoHS directive and green procurement, making it an environmentally friendly factory where we carry out processing with trivalent chromate and non-chrome. October 1946: Founded Tonan Omura Plating Co., Ltd. in Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo. January 1952: Reorganized as Tonan Plating Co., Ltd. April 1965: Opened the second factory (2-45-12 Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku). April 1969: Opened the third factory (4-5-1 Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku). March 1991: Merged the third factory into the second factory. June 1991: Changed the company name to Tonan BP Co., Ltd. and relocated the headquarters to the current location. September 2005: Opened the Omura Plating Factory (specializing in racks). August 2007: Closed the second factory and opened the Ota factory (specializing in barrels).
